A truly significant and inspiring event took place at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University: a modern conference hall titled “Silk Road” was opened at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The visit of leading scholars from China highlighted KazNU’s strategic course toward transformation into a world-class research university. Today, international partnership is viewed not only as an exchange of knowledge, but also as a tool for jointly addressing global challenges—from environmental sustainability to energy security.
