Organizational moment:
(T-S) (W) Teacher greets the Ss and introduces objectives of the lesson to the students.
Warm-up: The strategy “Odd one out”. Teacher shows a set of pictures. Ss explain which one does not belong with the rest and give a reason why.

(T-S) (W) Teacher asks the Ss: How do you think what about the lesson? Ss respond to this question by giving different answers.
In this way Ss identify the theme of the lesson.
Task 1
(T-S) (S-S) (G) Teacher uses the strategy “Graphical organizer”, where Ss read the text “City in the sky” and draw the text using different graphics on the flipchart. Ss work in groups of 3, all 3 groups use different graphics: 1st bubbles, 2nd fishbone, 3rd ice cream. Then Ss present their poster to each other. After they do post-reading task on p94, ex2.

Task 2
(T-S) (S-S) (P) In this task T uses the strategy “Magical mirror”, where Ss work in pairs, talk about the task, asks and answers the questions. Ss stay in big 2 circles, inner and outer. Ss who are in the inner circle – speakers, Ss who are in the outer circle – listeners. T stays in the center and observes how Ss discuss, if necessary T makes notes to provide feedback after completing. Ss ask questions on p.94, ex5. ABOUT YOU.

(T-S) (S-T) (I) In this task T uses the strategy “Grammar gaming”, where Ss use the grammar rules correctly in sentences. Ss use There is/There are structure in positive, negative and question forms. They describe their ideal place to live.
