According to the results of the Independent rating of demanded universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2024, which is conducted by the Accreditation and Rating Agency (IAAR), audited by the Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence (IREG), al-Farabi Kazakh National University is recognized as the first and best university in Kazakhstan. He scored the highest number of points among other national universities in the country.

Monitoring of the results of the IAAR rating showed that, compared with last year, there is a positive growth trend of 22% in the number of joint educational programs. According to the Academic Mobility indicator, this indicator increased by 15%.

Active participation in academic mobility programs is noted at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University.

In order to train competitive personnel capable of working in conditions of high uncertainty, measures have been taken to diversify educational services and introduce new training formats. The updating of educational programs is carried out on an ongoing basis, taking into account the strategic objectives of state development.
