Конспект внеклассного мероприятия на тему:

«Film Festival»

Цель: воспитание у обучающихся понимания важности изучения

английского языка и потребности пользоваться им как средством познания и коммуникации, средством выражения эмоций, формирование уважительного отношения к иному мнению, создание предпосылок для развития творческих навыков.

Задачи:

Образовательные: активизировать изученный лексико-грамматический материал; учиться извлекать информацию из визуальных источников;

Личностные: научиться проявлять интерес к изучаемому предмету;

Коммуникативные: научиться высказывать свое мнение;

Познавательные: научиться уважать культурное наследие, познакомиться с произведениями в области кинематографии

Оснащение мероприятия: компьютер, презентация, рабочие листы для учеников и учителя.

Ход мероприятия

1. Приветствие и речевая разминка (5 минут)

Учитель:Good day, class! I am glad to see you!

The world of cinema is a magical world, which gives us a totally different view of reality. When people come to the cinema, they experience different situations and emotions. Tell me, do you like cinema?

Ученик: I watch films at least once a week, usually on weekends. It’s a great way to relax after a busy week at school.

Учитель: That’s great! What is your favorite film genre (action, comedy, drama, horror)?

Ученик: I really love comedies! I enjoy laughing and just having a good time with friends while watching funny movies.

Учитель: That’s a good choice! Who is your favorite actor or actress?

Ученик: My favorite actor is Tom Holland. I think he’s really talented, and I love his role as Spider-Man. He brings so much energy to the character!

Учитель: Awesome! What is your favourite film?

Ученик: My favorite film is 'The Avengers.' I love superhero movies, and the action scenes are amazing. Plus, the characters are all so cool together!

Учитель: What films can you recommend to your friends?

Ученик: I would recommend 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' because it has a unique animation style and a great story. Also, 'The Greatest Showman' is awesome for its music and inspiring message!

2. Представление учителем лингвострановедческого материала, просмотр отрывков из фильмов (10 минут)

Учитель: Today we are going to speak about cinema. At the end of our lesson we are going to have a quiz. Be attentive and active. The most active students will get prizes!

Did you know that the first film appeared in Paris in 1895? The makers were two French brothers, Louis and Auguste Lumiere, and it only lasted a few minutes. (3 слайд – “Arrival of a train”) 'Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat' (лясьёта) is considered to be the first motion picture in modern history. Popular legend has it that, when this film was shown, the first-night audience ran away from the cafe in terror, fearing being run over by the "approaching" train. Let’s watch it!

Учитель:Look at this photo (4слайд – Charlie Chaplin Portrait). Do you recognize this man?

Ученик:No… It is the first time I see him.

Учитель:And what about this man (5слайд – Chaplin 2)?

Ученик: It’s Charlie Chaplin.

Учитель:Yes, it is. Charlie Chaplin was the American and British actor, writer, composer and director, universal master of cinema, the creator of one of the most famous images of world cinema. Let’s watch some short film scenes with Charlie. (Видео 3 Charlie Chaplin.)

Ученик:What a fun!

Учитель:Yeah, Charlie Chaplin was a really great man known all over the world. It was so easy for him to entertain people. Charlie is a comedian from God.

Учитель: As you can see, until the late 1920s, movies were silent. Words on the screen told the important parts of the story. (9слайд – The Jazz Singer) The first 'talkie', a film called “The Jazz Singer” appeared in 1927. A few years later, the first colour movies appeared.

2. Автоматизация лексических навыков (12 минут)

Учитель: That was the story about the creation of cinema. Now let’s speak about The most popular actors and actresses. On the board you will see pictures of different artists. Your task is to put them in the chronological order. But first, tell me what their names are.

Ученик: Marilyn Monroe, Julia Roberts, Tom Holland, Leonardo di Caprio, Jenna Ortega, Alain Delon, Timothee Chalamet, Meryl Streep

Учитель: Exactly! Now place them in the right order.

An American crime film which won 3 Oscars. The leader of a New York crime family is known all over the world (Godfather)

An American film producer, famous for his animated cartoons. (Walt Disney)

The main character falls in love with a princess. He has a friend, a donkey (осел). (Shrek)

This cartoon character has a girlfriend Minnie. (Mickey Mouse)

«Actors».

He is an American actor and film producer. He gained fame for his role as Jack Dawson in Titanic, and has starred in many other successful films. In 2016, he won the Academy Award (Oscar) (Leonardo DiCaprio)

He appeared in over 100 films known for his acrobatic fighting style, use of improvised weapons and innovative stunts(трюки) (Jackie Chan)

A famous English actor and producer. He usually played a tramp (бродяга) in silent black and white comedy films (Charlie Chaplin)

 Учитель: Well done! Right now I’m going to give you your handouts where you have to find the hidden words connected to our topic. You have 3 minutes! Remember that the fastest person gets the prize!

4. Заключение и подведение итогов (3 минут)

Мероприятие «Film Festival» поможет учащимся расширить свой словарный запас и кругозор, развить навыки устной речи и улучшить коммуникативные навыки.

Вывод: Я считаю, что внеурочное мероприятие «Film Festival» прошло успешно. Все запланированные задания учащиеся успели выполнить за время урока. Просмотр отрывков из старых фильмов заинтересовал учеников. Учащиеся с огромным удовольствием слушали учителя. Они отвечали на вопросы, выполняли задания, описывали картинки. В конце урока каждый ученик получил приз, а самые активные ученики получили еще и отличную оценку.
